My favorite building in all of San Francisco is City Hall. The architecture and light is amazing. My camera and I have been there many times and it never gets old. Both of my brothers eloped, and neither of them had a photographer. Both of my brothers and sister-in-laws regret not having any wedding pictures, so I am setting out to help solve this problem for others by offering elopement packages.

In the middle of the chaos that moving put me in, I was able to escape to spend the day in The City with a darling couple from England who tied the knot after ten years. We started in San Francisco’s City Hall for the civil ceremony and some portraits by those amazing windows on the upper floor, then we headed outside  to catch the iconic gold crusted doorway with the American flag for this traveling couple, followed by some shots in the park across the street with the trademark dome in the background.

On the way to the car, we grabbed a snack at Hayes Valley Bakeworks, whose cookies are guilt-free because their mission is one of social justice, so eating their cookies is helping their cause. The first of three stops was at the Cable Car turnaround near Ghirardelli square. Next, we spent some time at the Palace of Fine Arts, and hit the Golden Gate Bridge for our last stop.

Now this couple is down the coast for their month long honeymoon, hitting California’s hot spots ranging from San Diego to Yosemite and a bunch in between before heading back across the pond to England where they live. I pride myself on a quick turn around, and when the couple takes this long of a honeymoon, it was easy to get all of the images published to their gallery before their trip was complete.
