FAQs for CPG Product Photography

Do you offer remote product photography for CPG food brands?

Yes! I specialize in remote product photography for CPG food brands across the U.S. Just ship your products to me, and I’ll take care of the rest—from curating props to final editing and high-resolution image delivery. It’s streamlined, stress-free, and designed to give you custom, on-brand visuals without the need to be on set.

What types of CPG products do you photograph?

I work with a wide range of food-related consumer packaged goods, including snacks, beverages, sauces, frozen items, baking kits, pantry staples—and food-adjacent products like cookware and utensils. I also photograph pet food and treats, especially dog products. If you or your dog eats it, or if it’s used to make or serve food, it’s within my specialty. View cpg product photography work above.

Each shoot is customized based on your product and goals. Some items require more prep than others. For example, opening a bag of granola and pouring it in a bowl is a lot less work than baking cookies that use the same granola as one of the ingredients. Packages may include one product or multiple SKUs and set-ups. Either way, I deliver fully edited, high-resolution images shot specifically for your brand and your intended platforms.

Can you create lifestyle scenes or holiday content with my product?

Absolutely. I offer lifestyle product photography that creates emotional connection between your product and your audience. I style year-round scenes with natural props, as well as seasonal and holiday content with props designed for specific holidays or campaigns to keep your brand fresh and relevant. Read my blog post about seasonal content creation.

Yes! I love making stop-motion GIFs and loops to boost engagement. My favorite to make is the “bouncing bag” that brings energy and personality to the product because they are a fun and cost-effective add-on for almost any shoot. I also offer custom illustrated elements that reinforce your brand identity while driving consumer interaction. Read my blog post about Stop Motion GIFs for food brands.

Do you offer stop-motion content, too?

As a remote CPG product photographer, I’ve made the process easy for brands from coast to coast. Once your project is confirmed, I’ll send you a timeline, shipping instructions, and a checklist of what to include. I always recommend sending a few extra items for styling flexibility so I can open one for staging while keeping another pristine for hero shots.

How do I ship products for a remote shoot?

Once your project scope is finalized and the contract is signed, I’ll reserve time on my calendar and start curating the props. Most remote product photography projects are completed within 7–14 business days of receiving your shipment. Rush options are available if you're on a tight timeline for a retail launch or marketing campaign.

How long does a remote shoot take from start to finish?

Since every brand and product has different needs, I build custom quotes based on your goals, timeline, and deliverables. Whether you need a few clean white background images or a full lifestyle campaign with stop-motion, I’ll craft a package that maximizes your investment and reflects your brand identity.
